Celebrating Hajj Abdul Samad Said: A Champion of Peace and Harmony

Hajj Abdul Samad Said Ibn Chamba, a renowned peace advocate, has been recognized as a Peace Ambassador for his outstanding efforts in promoting interfaith harmony and peace in Ghana and beyond.

As the Acting Executive Secretary of Acrossfaiths Foundation, he has played a pivotal role in fostering community peace initiatives and encouraging understanding among diverse groups.

Ambassador Hajj Abdul Samad’s passion for peace is evident in his various roles, including Umoja Bwe of Chamba (National Youth Chief of the People of Chamba Ethnic Ghana) and Executive Secretary of Sensitization Centre, an NGO with UN ECOSOC consultative status. His dedication to peacebuilding is a testament to his commitment to creating a more harmonious society.

Currently pursuing an Executive Certificate in African Custodianship and Digital Age Leadership, Ambassador Hajj Abdul Samad Said is committed to enhancing his leadership skills and knowledge to further promote peace and harmony. His message of hope and unity is inspiring, and his dedication to peacebuilding is a shining example for others to follow.

At the 100 Days of Harmony and Hope campaign launch and Ambassador for Peace Awards Night at KNUST University in Kumasi, Ambassador Hajj Abdul Samad Said emphasized the importance of individual actions in building peace, stating, “Peace begins with each of us.” He called on Ghanaians to take an active role in shaping a future where unity triumphs over division, dialogue replaces misunderstanding, and service becomes a common language.
