DVLA OPENS BECHEM OFFICE

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has opened its office in Bechem in the Ahafo Region.

The opening of Bechem office is aimed at bringing DVLA services closer to the people of Ghana.

Prior to opening this office, residents in the Tano South Municipality had had to travel long distances to access vehicle and driver licensing services of DVLA.

By bringing this office in Bechem, the Authority affirms its commitment to reducing travel time while making its services accessible and seamless.

The event which was led by DVLA Executives headed by its Chief Executive, Mr. Julius Neequaye Kotey and supported by his Deputy Chief Executives, Lawyer Forster Akwasi Asante and Mr. Yeboah Seidu Iddisah, saw in attendance the Board Chairman of DVLA, Mr. George Spencer Quaye, the Deputy Minister of Transport Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, Member of Parliament for Tano South, Hon. Charles Asiedu, Municipal Chief Executive of Tano South, Hon. Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, among others.

The commissioning event was chaired by Nana Adwoapo Dwamena Serwaa II, Bechem Hemaa of the Bechem Traditional Council. With her were Chiefs and Elders of Bechem Traditional Council.
