The Nutrition and Dietetics Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital today, received a delegation from the University of South Florida, led by Professor Lauri Wright, a professor in Nutrition and Dietetics for a two day visit.
The purpose of the visit was in relation to the continuous partnership that exist between the Nutrition and Dietetics Department Korle Bu, the University of Ghana Dietetics Department and the University of South Florida.

The University of Florida has been visiting the Hospital for the past five years bringing students for clinical rotation to enhance their shared experience.The three departments visited were the Renal Unit, Surgical and Child Health Department.
Ms. Juliana Abena Yeboah, Head of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, gave a warm introduction, providing an overview of the hospital and listing some of its key departments. She also expressed gratitude to the delegation for their visit to the hospital.
Professor Lauri Wright expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to visit the facility, praising its remarkable contributions to nutrition care. She also expressed great enthusiasm for the visit and what lies ahead for the team.
Additionally, Mr. Stanley Okulu a Dietician for Surgical Department delivered a case study presentation on Anthropometry, providing insightful discussion on the topic.
Present at the meeting were Ms. Juliana Abena Yeboah Head of Department, Nutritionists, Dieticians and Mr. Frank Adade the Admin Manager for the Department.
