This World Rugby-certified programme is designed to elevate the standards of the sport in Ghana by equipping participants with internationally recognized training. It targets a wide audience including coaches, match officials, medical personnel, and rugby administrators, all of whom play a vital role in the growth and safety of the game.
Participants will undergo intensive sessions in four critical areas: Coaching, Match Officiating, First Aid in Rugby, and Immediate Care in Rugby (ICIR). These courses are tailored to blend theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that attendees leave with the competence and confidence to make meaningful contributions on and off the field.
Beyond skill acquisition, the programme reflects a broader vision—to professionalize rugby structures in Ghana and align them with international best practices. With increasing attention on player welfare and game integrity, the inclusion of medical and safety training underscores a commitment to safeguarding athletes at all levels.
