The 2022/23 betPawa Premier League first round came to an end last weekend.
After the first round of matches, each of the 18 team had played 17 matches with Aduana Stars leading the league table with 31 points, 3 points behind Hearts of Oak 28 points on the second position.
Out of 153 matches played in the first round, 308 goals were produced as compared to last season 300 goals.
Aduana Stars won the most games in the first round with 9 wins out of 16 games, Asante Kotoko scored the most goals 25, and Kotoku Royals lost most games in the first round, 13 out out of their 16 games.
Berekum Chelsea player, Mizack Afriyie tops the goal king chart with 9 goals, followed by Steven Mukwala of Asante Kotoko with 8 goals.

The second round of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season would kick start on the weekend of February 17-19 across the various league centers.
