The National Youth Chief of Chamba People of Ghana, Hajj Abdul Samad Said Ibn Chambas express his deep concern and disappointment regarding the recent video made by Musah Dankwa, Head of Global Research at Global InfoAnalytics, where he made egregious and false claims about the Chamba people of Ghana.
“As the National Youth Chief of the Chamba People, I am compelled to correct these inaccuracies and demand an apology for the harm caused to our community. The Chamba people have a rich history and heritage in Ghana, and it is unacceptable to spread misinformation about our identity and ancestral home”.
“He said, he is from the Oyoko clan of Akim Aboakwa and also from a village called Apeibi near Adukrom after Akropogn, but what about his Kotokoli lineage?, that is not our business. We are Chamba and our hometown is Chamba”.
” I urge Musah Dankwa to take immediate action to retract his statements and apologize to the Chamba people. Furthermore, I suggest that he seeks accurate information about the Chamba people by consulting with experts, including Black Rasta, who is knowledgeable about our history and culture.
Additionally, I recommend that he checks historical archives, including those related to Port Santo Antonio at Axim dating back 1642 in the Gold coast Era, to gain a deeper understanding of the Chamba people’s experiences and contributions”.
We will not tolerate intellectual dishonesty and misinformation about our community. I expect a prompt response and correction from Musah Dankwa.
