Veteran Ghanaian actor Mawuli Semevo has reportedly passed away while receiving treatment at the Ridge Hospital in Accra after suffering burns from a fire incident few weeks ago.
This information is contained in a post by one of his colleague actors, Ken Fiati on Facebook in the evening of February 20.
“Rest In Perfect Peace, Senior Mawuli Semevo,” Fiati wrote on Facebook.
The actor’s house caught fire on Friday, February 7 while he was asleep and was rushed to the hospital for medical care.
Reports indic ate that the incident affected 44 percent of the actor’s body, leading to a respiratory injury which has affected his breathe.
