CAMP NEWS: Hearts of Oak quashes Salifu Ibrahim’s Ineligibility against Eleven Wonders

The Accra Daily Mail

The communication director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has quashed a post circulating on social media which states emphatically that in form Salifu Ibrahim is ineligible to play tomorrow’s Ghana Premier League matchday 26 against Eleven Wonders due to a clause in his contract which prevents him from playing against his former side.

Opare Addo in an interview with Kumasi FM said; “So far as I know, Salifu Ibrahim is here with us,”

“He trained yesterday and today and is eligible to play if only the head coach Samuel Boadu wants to use him.” He added.

Opare in the interview allowed the player in question (Salifu Ibrahim) to say “hello” to the fans of Hearts just to confirm his presence at camp.
