The Ghana Football Association has questioned the rational behind Asante Kotoko latest decision to move their Home venue from the Accra Sports Stadium to the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
Responding to a request by Asante Kotoko to move away from the Accra Sports Stadium, the Ghana FA said the club Licensing department of the Association has not raised any concerns with regards to the usage of the Accra Sports Stadium by Asante Kotoko, and would therefore request the club to furnish the Association with reasons for their decision to leave the venue.
The letter further notified Asante Kotoko that the club’s selection of the Accra Sports Stadium was duly taken through the club licensing regime before approval was given.
Base on the response, it is clear the Ghana FA would want Asante Kotoko to maintain its current gime venue of Accra until a clearly defined reason is given.
