Management of Decathlon Ghana has issued a public disclaimer warning customers and the general public about a fraudulent advertisement currently circulating across social media platforms.
According to the company, the advertisement, allegedly published by an unauthorized page known as “Exclusive Offers” and other similar accounts, falsely claims that “The Champions Box 2026” promotion has arrived. The scam reportedly uses Decathlon Ghana’s official branding and local sports imagery in an attempt to mislead unsuspecting members of the public.
In a statement, Decathlon Ghana stressed that it has no association, partnership, or involvement whatsoever with the page, the purported “Champions Box 2026” campaign, or any links connected to the advertisement.
The company has therefore urged customers and the public to exercise caution, avoid clicking on suspicious links, and verify any promotional offers through Decathlon Ghana’s official communication channels.
Decathlon Ghana further disclosed that it is taking the necessary legal and technical measures to have the fraudulent content removed from social media platforms.
Management thanked the public for their vigilance and continued support, while reiterating its commitment to protecting customers from online scams and fraudulent activities.
“We are taking the necessary legal and technical steps to have this fraudulent content taken down. Thank you for your continued alertness and support,” the statement concluded.
