The Head of Corporate Communications at the Ghana National Gas Company, Richard Kirk-Mensah, has held discussions with the newly appointed U.S. Economic Counsellor to Ghana, Mr. Andrew Winkelman, on strengthening economic cooperation and exploring shared opportunities between Ghana and the United States.
The meeting took place at a networking reception organised to officially welcome Mr. Winkelman to Ghana, providing an opportunity for key stakeholders to connect and exchange ideas on areas of mutual interest.
Kirk-Mensah, who shared details of the engagement on his official Facebook page, described the meeting as a valuable opportunity to begin conversations that could contribute to stronger partnerships between Ghana National Gas Company and the United States.
“It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Andrew Winkelman, the new U.S. Economic Counsellor to Ghana, at a networking reception held to officially welcome him to Ghana,” he wrote.
He added that he looked forward to engaging in meaningful conversations aimed at promoting economic cooperation, investment and shared opportunities between Ghana Gas and the United States.

The engagement underscores the importance of strengthening institutional relationships and creating platforms for collaboration in areas that can contribute to Ghana’s economic development and investment prospects.
Kirk-Mensah further extended a warm welcome to the new U.S. Economic Counsellor, expressing his best wishes for a successful and impactful assignment in Ghana.
