The Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking a significant milestone in the development and governance of rugby in the country.

The AGM, led by GRFU President Rafatu Inusah, brought together key stakeholders, administrators, and representatives of clubs to review the Union’s progress and outline a clear path for the future.

A major highlight of the meeting was the adoption of a new Constitution aimed at strengthening governance structures, promoting transparency, and aligning the Union with modern international rugby standards. The reforms are expected to enhance accountability and ensure the sustainable growth of the sport in Ghana.

In addition, members unanimously approved a comprehensive Code of Conduct to guide the behavior of players, officials, and stakeholders. The introduction of this framework underscores the Union’s commitment to discipline, professionalism, and integrity across all levels of the game.

Speaking after the successful AGM, Ms. Rafatu Inusah reaffirmed the Union’s dedication to building a stronger and more inclusive rugby ecosystem. She emphasized that the newly adopted policies would play a critical role in positioning Ghana rugby for greater success both locally and internationally.
