The Chamba Ethnic Youth Council Congratulate Amb. Hajj Abdul Samad Said

The Chamba Ethnic Youth Council (CYEC) congratulates Umoja Bwe Amb. Hajj Abdul Samad Said Ibn Chambas on completing the pioneering Executive Certificate in African Custodianship and Digital‑Age Leadership.

The intensive programme, launched by the university’s Centre for African Studies, Leadership and Research in partnership with the Royals, Clergy and Sheikhs Alliance, equips emerging leaders with ancestral insight and digital fluency .

Amb. Hajj Abdul Samad is a true social‑entrepreneur‑in‑action. As the National Youth Chief (Umoja Bwe) of the Chamba community, he blends traditional chieftaincy with modern community development, championing peace, youth empowerment and cultural preservation across Ghana.

Beyond his hereditary role, he serves as Acting Executive Secretary of Acrossfaiths Foundation and Executive Director of the Sensitization Centre, an NGO with UN ECOSOC consultative status, and has been honoured as a Peace Ambassador by the Universal Peace Federation for his inter‑faith work.

“This certificate has sharpened my ability to lead in a rapidly changing digital world while staying rooted in our traditions,” Amb. Hajj Abdul Samad said. “I am honored to be part of a cohort that is redefining African leadership for the future.”

The graduation ceremony also recognised other distinguished leaders, including Ubwayaa Amb. Zakaria Tahir Kuta III, Zorsimdinaa I (Paramount Chief of the Chamba Ethnic Group), Okatakyie Nana Anim I (President of ROSA), and numerous chiefs, clergy and sheikhs who completed the course.
