On behalf of Tema Oil Refinery Ltd., the Managing Director, Mr. Edmond Kombat, Esq., received a Citation of Honour from the Africa Energy Technology Centre (AETC) in recognition of the Company’s sponsorship to the Centre.
As part of this year’s Africa Energy Technology Conference, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy & Green Transition from 27th – 29th May 2025, TOR, sharing a similar vision with the Conference, sponsored the event in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments, a gesture duly acknowledged with the presentation of a Citation by the Founder of AETC, Ms. Emelia Cedar-Palm Akumah.
During the presentation, Ms. Akumah expressed the Centre’s commitment to partner with TOR in the areas of Financing, Investment, and Innovation Technology, to help advance the Refinery’s transformation agenda.
Receiving the Citation, the Managing Director, Mr. Edmond Kombat, Esq., emphasized that this collaboration aligns with TOR’s ongoing Reset Agenda, aimed at positioning Ghana’s premier refinery to fully return to operations and contribute significantly to national development, particularly in strengthening energy security and reducing foreign exchange outflows.
