England produced an attacking masterclass to defeat Croatia 4-2 in an entertaining FIFA World Cup clash, with captain Harry Kane scoring twice and earning Player of the Match honors.

The Three Lions dominated much of the contest and were rewarded with an early breakthrough in the 12th minute when Kane converted from the penalty spot. Croatia responded strongly, however, with Martin Baturina leveling the score in the 36th minute.

Kane restored England’s advantage six minutes later with his second goal of the night, but Croatia once again fought back as Petar Musa struck deep into first-half stoppage time to send the teams into the break level at 2-2.

The second half began perfectly for England as Jude Bellingham found the net just two minutes after the restart to make it 3-2. England continued to pile pressure on Croatia’s defense before substitute Marcus Rashford sealed the victory with a late goal in the 85th minute.

Despite the defeat, Croatia showed their efficiency in attack, scoring twice from limited opportunities and demonstrating their ability to punish teams on the counterattack. Goalkeeper Dominik Livaković also played a key role in keeping the scoreline respectable with seven saves.

Kane finished as the standout performer with a match rating of 8.4, followed by Bellingham and Noni Madueke. For Croatia, Baturina was their highest-rated player after an impressive display in midfield.
