Asante Kotoko head coach Eric Tinkler has named a 26-man squad for the club’s trip to Accra as the Porcupine Warriors intensify preparations for the new football season.
Tinkler has opted for a balanced squad featuring a mix of experienced campaigners, promising young Ghanaian talents and four foreign recruits from across West Africa and Central Africa.
The squad includes three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and seven forwards, giving the South African coach plenty of options as he continues to shape his team.

Haruna Aziz Dari, Danlad Ibrahim, Cleverson Obeng
Defenders:
Emmanuel Kotei, Abu Adams, Patrick Asiedu, Joseph Amoah, Ali Umar, Musah Hamzata, Issah Yakubu
Midfielders:
Lawson Keyi Manu, Lord Hilary Adabo, Seth Kwadwo, Hubert Gyau, Walid Neymar
Forwards:
Inusa Adams, Bismark Ofori, Philip Amoh, Opoku Agyemang, Morifing Donzo, Dogo Yakubu, Emmanuel Mammah
Foreign players:
Eric Gbetta – Ivory Coast
Tarnagda Abdoul Kader – Burkina Faso
Nsor Solomon Assah – Cameroon
Koffi Bini – Ivory Coast
The presence of the four foreign players adds an international dimension to Tinkler’s squad, with the coach expected to carefully assess their qualities alongside the club’s Ghanaian contingent.
For Kotoko, the trip to Accra represents another important stage in the rebuilding process under Tinkler. The technical team will be looking to establish the right combinations, improve tactical understanding and ensure the players are ready for the demands of competitive football.
With 26 players making the journey, competition for places is expected to be intense, particularly in midfield and attack where Tinkler has several options at his disposal.
